Speaking of Red Herrings, I have another lead that's probably irrelevant.
The Wikipedia page for Red Herring was updated since the start of this puzzle. One edit adds a link to another article, Ten Little Indians, that is entirely unrelated. The IP address that makes this edit has only made this one edit. Maybe there are some clues buried in these pages.

The second poem on the page mentions the term "red herring" once - but out of context. Could be cleverly hiding a clue, a non-clue, or it could be a coincidence.

I have read Ten Little Indians. If there's anything that matters about it, the "red herring" death corresponded in order to when Dr. Armstrong was found, but the true "red herring" was Wargrave, who had a fake death.

Those people I suspected posted from a very narrow range of IP's from a specific ISP. I thought it was LF because I knew he was pretty computer-savvy, and didn't guess you because I hardly know a thing about you.

Anyway, I'm thinking one of these keywords given is the decryption key (for that "JavaScypt" page) for some cypher I haven't found yet.
The encrypted text will either be groups of five capital letters beginning with "ZZZZZ", a series of valid hexadecimal characters (0-9, a-f) between "?HX?" and "?H", or a series of any sort of characters between "?b64" and "?64b".


Other crap:
If 102938 is actually 0x102938, it doesn't become anything meaningful when changed to decimal or octal. Neither does 0x0A102938 or 0xEA102938.
However, 102938 in hex is 0x1921a, which might be valuable information.

When you have a secret it is fun to hint at it. This is what Tsukatu has been doing the whole time. He started the witch hunt for the person that was misleading everybody. A witch hunt though is usually seen as a crazy idea, and was not taken with much seriousness. Also, starting the witch hunt would make you less likely the witch.
