Daikenkai seems to have disappeared, but he has been working on this, although I had to finish it myself since he is not responding.

A somewhat hard map, but I'm happy with how it fit the theme.

I hate to be a stickler, but I basically had to turn our map in as a sketch due to the timeframe. People who then take extra time and don't keep the deadline will obviously have had more time to talk over the map. Will there be a penalty for surpassing the deadline?

Also, Daikenkai hasn't left for good, he got back to me after I posted the map but I guess that it's too late to edit it further so we'll just have to make up for this in teh next rounds.

When are R1 results ETA?

No. People who take extra time and don't keep the deadline gamble with their score, because as soon as I've submitted results, I don't consider any more submissions.

Good to hear he's back. And I'm working on the judgings right now, don't worry.

I agree with what Diamondeye says. I also understand your point of view. However in my opinion it would be best to start judging right after the deadline and publish the results next day. Just so you don't give the teams not yet finished too much time, which would be quite unfair towards the others.
It's only a suggestion, but you really should judge it as soon as possible after the set date (until which maps are due).

Nevertheless I'm excited about who will win this round...

EDIT: @blackson: I didn't mean it like that. It shouldn't be done overnight, nor should one jump to conclusion. I just wanted to say there shouldn't pass too much time after deadline, in which the teams still may submit their work, to keep it as fair as possible.
Just wanted to clear that.

Wouldn't wanna be penalized for anything silly, so: you didn't specify a time zone for your deadline. I got LFTT's in about three hours before midnight, GMT-6, safely clearing the deadline, at least according to my clock.

Realize that judging 10 maps seriously takes some time; doing it in overnight might be a pain.

I see your point, da_guru. What you forget is that I also have a life outside the forums and I was especially busy the last few days. Also, think of what Blackson said. I'll try to finish judgings as quick as possible, of course, but please don't complain about such breaks anymore, just take it easy.

Thanks :)
