What I have to do is speak for upwards of fifteen minutes on the topic of Deception which could be fun if the class likes listening to a monotonous voice for 4.07x10^-5 % of their lives. I want to have the presentation that people bring up years down the line when we all get together for a class reunion. Basically... I would like your help to think of something creative and exciting which I could use to better the performance that will be my Presentation.

Ideas such as: Drawing a magnificent piece of the monster that is deception on the white-board throughout my talking, preparing a piece of stand-up comedy (which could possibly be the worst thing I ever do)...

Help needed. :)
make 10 minutes of that a game of mafia. You GM, and get 5 people up. Make one of them mafia, and 4 of them just regular townies. Night start. Talk about how people manipulate using deception, and use the game as an example.

squibbles idea is superb. I would improve it by not making it mafia, though. Which sounds weird, but listen up:

Audience interaction is a superb idea. Get five of them up to you. First, ask them what their names are. Detail about why we can assume that each person is telling the truth, because we cannot perceive any motivation for lying.

Then ask them what the most embarrassing moment of their lives was. Some will say something embarrassing, some will say something funny, somebody will say I don't know. Reason to the audience that the survival instinct is what motivates deception. These people perceive survival in modern society as a social element as opposed to a physical one; the school environment has replaced the jungle.

And then select the one who gave the best answer to the previous question and tell him you want him to say three statements about a subject (Judge Joe Brown?) and lie in one of them. Ask the audience after each one if they think he is lying by a raise of hands. Observe that the paranoia and fear of deception leads most of us to want to avoid being honest ourselves.

Conclude with a surprising statistic and the joke, "But maybe that statistic was a lie. Thank you."

Nod toward the applause, make your way back to your seat and then quietly thank SlappyMcGee for the A you are about to receive.

Spoiler alert: SlappyMcGee calls your school administration and gets you a failing grade for using his cliffnotes instead of doing the work yourself.

Is the content supposed to be derived from any actual authority or empirical study on deception? Or are you just expected to pull information out of your ass for fifteen minutes like a con artist running a self-help seminar?
If it's the former, Slappy's plan will bomb and you'll fail miserably. Otherwise, it's an excellent idea.

This is an American public high school, right? I mean, it's got to be latter.

As long as it's not from Wikipedia, most American high schools really don't care. Besides, most authoritative or empirical studies on these kinds of issues are empirically and authoritatively pulled out of the authors' asses, anyways.

Slappy's idea works better, partially because it's deeper and more easily adapted to this kind of target audience, and partially because you know damn well you can't talk during the night phase.

You could make an insightful research analyzing how powerful politicians, (see India, China, USA, etc. for examples), use deception to dupe both their own native country's citizens as well as international relations. Corruption is key here.

What is the purpose of having them say their most embarassing moment? I'm confused about how this links in with survival instinct.

The social survival of students is what prompts them to lie in front of a large audience with respect to embarrassment.

Just show the last fifteen minutes of The Prestige.

EDIT: Wait, no, I have a better idea. Ask for a volunteer who is known to be hostile toward you and perform that trick with the pistol that backfires in the movie. Shoot yourself full of holez.

The chances of people coming up with their most embarrassing moment and sharing it are really low, I mean I guess it could prove your point but I'd be willing to bet most participants would just say "dunno" or something
People write to me and say, "I’m giving up, you’re not talking to me." I just write them a simple message like, "Never give up," you know? And it changes their life

I remember back when my sophomore English class did something like this, and everyone participated.
