How'd you get that number ska? Did you take into account that you both had to take a 0th that ended in .400, and not just that you both improved by the same amount? If not, then that puts the odds even higher. :)

Well, the chance of a run ending in exactly .400 is 1 in 40 (since there are 40 frames per second during N gameplay, but it's more about the fact that there were two 0ths that ended in the same digits, more on this later)
then for both of the improved runs to end in .525 is once again 1 in 40. (40 x 40 = 1600)
However if you want to factor in the improvement time being exactly the same it would be even less common, however, it wouldn't be that much more since taking a 0th by over 1 second at a time isn't very common these days anyway. As for both taking a run that ends in .4 this is kind of redundant, since it's more about the fact that both 0ths were the same rather than the time itself, hence it's irrelevance. Think of it this way. The chances of rolling double 4s on a pair of fair, 6 sided dice is 1 in 36, but if you change the event to "The chances of rolling doubles" the chances are improved sixfold since it doesn't matter what the first roll is as the 2nd roll is independent and each number is just as likely (say if the first roll was a 2 for instance) then the chances of the 2nd dice being rolled a 2 as well is only 1 in 6. I'm sure most of you guys will have learned this in primary school maths but it can be a confusing concept nonetheless. Wow, I wrote a lot then; I hope it makes sense.

Sick runs guys. I am loving the newly heated competition between xaelar and van. /me has a sneaking suspicion that there will be more dronie worthy runs coming out in the next two months.

I was talking about runs that are worthy of the Dronie for "Run of the Year." So far I think 49-2 and 88-4 are for sure going to be nominated. I am sure there are other great runs I am forgetting and some NUMA ones I haven't seen yet. EDIT: Meta's 79-4 could be the "Almost Run of the Year"

In your run you probably could have made it over the first drone, but I guess since the ball is in your court van that is the next step towards 160 :P Beat that drone.
