Sorry for the mis-credit. Does anyone know approximately how many frames faster van's route is? It certainly makes it much easier to obtain a top-20. It also must be noted that there are some opportunities for corner jumps.

I dont know if ska is thinking in this one, but when I saw your run I thought of this one:

This way you dont have to jump after the wj because you get the switch while on the wj.
Maybe faster if well done, but im not sure.

But the problem is that the wj isnt enough to get to the end of the left platform, so you have to keep running a bit, to get the gold, and that makes you lose some of the gained time.

I think your route would be better if well done, i've tried, but I cant do it well.

This was a huge week for the highscore boards. A war has begun between xaelar and vankusss. To see what I mean take a look at the "Old" column of the New 0th Report. You will see a trend. Then take a glance at the "New" column, you will again notice a trend. Finally take a look at the third column of "0ths retaken" and you may start to under stand what I mean by "a war." Van started posting on the forums again this week and with that he took a staggering 10 0ths, even more impressive they were all xaelar 0ths. I will leave it to you to watch all of the impressive runs from that collection, but some notables are: van's huge route change on 8-2, which after xaelar retook ended up 1 frame short of 2 second over xaelar's old 0th, van's absurdly fast run on 81-3 besting crappi by .350 with out any innovation, and van and xaelar both beating crappi on 4-4. This week also saw a four way tie arise from van's complete route change on 81-2, so if anyone wants to see 4 0ths go poof shoot for .125. LAT made his return on highscoring this week with two new 0ths. He bested Dark by a frame on 18-3, and he threw down a very fast run with several innovations on 27-1 beating xaelar by .625 and even beating Road_Rage's underclock run. TFK also join the fun this week by capitalizing on van's route change for 81-2, however his runs on 12-4 were much more impressive. After last week when xaelar came with in 1 frame on Bonzai, this week TFK first put down a run .300 faster than xaelar tying kryX. Not content with a tie he then beat kryX by almost half a second with his own route. It is no easy to feat to beat a kryX run with out an innovation, never mind by half a second. This run will certainly be a nomination for the 2011 Dronies. As a whole the community went +6.775 seconds in total level score, putting us over the 71,775 mark.

(notice how I am always in the role of the 'good guy', yea that's right)

The battle rages on. Van has taken 10+ 0ths for two weeks in a row now as his efforts increase to dethrone king xaelar. The gap between 0th and 1st is now only 57 0ths, this is the closest any play has been to xaelar since December 2008. Van by out chimneying xaelar on 2-1 and snagging a frame from him on 3-3. He then dekyrxed 3-4 by 3 frames, which was a seemingly maxed map. Van also went for episode ownaged on Ep8. After taking on all 5 of the 0ths xaelar bested him on -3 and van was only able to tie, thus giving him an ugly asterisk next to his ownage of Ep8. The only two maps xaelar fought back on this week were 29-1 and 29-4. On 29-1 after van took the 0th xaelar was able to come back and beat his run by 1 frame shy of a half second. Consequently beating crappi in the process. On 29-4 van made an entire route change with many close calls to beat golfkid's original 0th by .325, then xaelar was able to use this route to get another 3 frames out of the map. Van then, in the waining hours of the week threw down a great run with a perfect heightless corner jump at the end in true Raif style even utilizing the wall to gain some speed. We also have a new comer this week. Esp took his first 0th, Ep86. He has 23 top-20s and now breaking in to the 0th circuit, we may want to keep and eye on this guy. As whole the community went +2.100 seconds in total level sore and +9.675 second in total episode score this week.

This week van continues his trek towards 0th overall. He comes 1 0th shy of having 3 double digit weeks in a row. Van took 9 0ths this week only fighting over 1 with xaelar. xaelar took 28-1 back at the start of the week, after losing it to van last week. They managed to save quite a bit with out any real innovations. Van de-crappied 5-0 and 55-3, taking 5-0 by almost a full second with several small route changes. At the very end of the week van was able to snag 58-4 by a frame with skipping the lp and using wall jumps in the second ascent. However, the real story this week was van's Ep50 0th. In that run he was able to beat his own -0, tie crappitrash on -1, and tie his -4 0th. This resulted in an Ep0th that is only 10 frames slower than the total level score for that Ep. This is currently the fastest episode and is the closest I have ever seen to a perfect Ep since the Trib4l days. Making van the owner of the two fastest episodes and the only two with less than a 1 second difference from the total level score. As a whole the community went +2.9 seconds in total level score and +4.350 seconds in total episode score.

Damn that is a nice run. I suppose I should have given you some more time I usually post the rankings at night, but I am not changing it now lol. I think we will all know that you got it. :D 10+ 0ths a week for 3 weeks is impressive. Less than 50 0ths left between you and xaelar.
