They make us look bad.
We need to change the terminology again, apparently.
One hilarious note, though, is that the article calls "atheists" who believe in heaven irrational, while giving a pro-Christian argument. No contradiction there.
As soon as we wish to be happier, we are no longer happy.

Goddamnit.
I really want to see some statistics that show some differences between people who do not believe whatsoever in paranormal or supernatural things versus all the people who do, because the word "atheist" unfortunately includes a whole lot of New Age garbage that simply happens to not be organized religion.

Yet I'd argue that these things that 31% of "atheists" believe are still nowhere near as dangerous as many popular organized religions.

I respect people's religious beliefs but do not believe in them myself. I do believe telekinesis and stuff like that is possible.
