Coincidentally, I was thinking of the exact same route yesterday.

Interestingly Izzy and I both thought this up simultaneously on IRC (though I thought of the beginning and he thought of exactly how to do the last walljump).

I'm probably not the first person to have thought of this, but for 48-3, would this route be possible, and any faster?

Legit mode is a restarted scoreboard, so there are no old, cheated runs there.

There should be a text file in your Nreality folder called LegitMode. Change the 0 to a 1 and you can use legit mode.

be warned though that you will overwrite any v.4 runs anytime you complete a level with legit mode on so make sure it's off if you want to keep them.

This looks like it should be a good route, but when I get up to the red part, the lasers kill it.
Image
Is there any way to rework this route so that doesn't happen?

That was actually one of the first routes I had. The second I had gets the switch on the top-left first, and my fastest demo for that route is 742 frames. (Now on NReality speedruns, although I've had it for a while)
I'm thinking that getting the middle switches first and using that "off the bottom corner" bounceblock jump could lead to a faster demo though...

Hm, I might have one more route in mind...

A bunch of us came up with that on irc awhile ago. I've pulled it off twice but got killed by a drone once and a Gauss the other time.

Level 35-3

This is just a little something I found (it may have been found before, but I haven't seen it in a highscore run)

The current way of going down is dropping on the thwumps and waiting for them to go by. This bypasses all of that.

Yes it is hard to do, but I have managed to safely do it 4 times, but due to various reasons (not getting all the gold, mis-jumping etc) unfortunately I dont have a highscore.
Pretty much all you have to do is fall straight down, not get hit by any thwumps and walljump at the bottom as shown in the pic. And when you wall jump, dont jump big like I have done many times previously and get hit by the oncoming thwump.

I was just hoping to see someone do it and get a highscore.

As my old 73-1 speedrun makes obvious, a bounceblock boost (no idea what they're being called) jump could be added on which most likely will be faster then the current 0th when using the same ending as gutland.

Very nice. That is much faster than edging off the corner, but thwump pushes are very hard to replicate with consistency so that will be a tough innov at the end of a long lvl.

Not sure if this is quite the spot that I should post this BUT: I've been desperately trying to get a KRAAGD demo on this level.

Nmaps.net

But too my bitter frustration, I can't do it. Would someone give it a try? Here's how far I got...

spoiler

The answer is anarchy.

Ok here is a bunch of innovations in no particular order. Some may be FBF only due to the difficulty factor, but I am posting them anyway. Also on some of the innovations where I provided a demo I may have deleted a bunch of objects so that the map resets quicker in fbf, but the innovations should still work. They may just need to be tweaked.
54-4

Image
Do an RCJ to get up to the higher gold.

36-3

Image
All four routes should be faster than the current LP->LP route, but the routes must be fast enough to beat the drone otherwise they are useless.

24-0

The innovation here is to do a 1 frame bbbwj, then continue as normal. I tried jumping from the 1 tiles in the demo just to see, but I think the old route is faster.

95-3

The demo is pretty self explanatory.

33-2

I never got around to finishing the demo, but the innovation, which it not mine. Other players have used this already, but the 0th run does not use it. When comming out of the first tunnel jump over the mines to the switch rather than under.

41-1

The innovation is to WJ the half tile in the middle and then another WJ up top and the continue as normal. Also BBCJs would help where ever you wanted to use them. I think there are 7 opportunies for them.

41-4

This is a really shitty, real time demo, just to demonstrate that the first triple is possible and should be done, along with the second triple in the current route.

17-3

This innovation may not be possible because niether moh, or myself were able to get an CJ high enough to get up with out a WJ, and when you have all of the objects the rocket gets you if you WJ, but I am posting it anyway because CJs prove to be very random when using FBF, so someone may be able to make it happen

43-1

This I think is the optimal route, however it is pretty tough so it may be FBF only. Also I know I missed the switches and that one gold, but I had all of the objects delete when i made the run so that the reset time was quicker.

42-0

We were discussing this in IRC today, and I was that is going left at the start truly faster? As opposed to going right? I acutally do not know, so I am posting this for discussion. I will provide a picture if needed.

43-0

This was not my innovation, but I remember when Darkshadow was HSing this map he said that randomly you can survive a fall from the LP bounce. This would be quicker than wall sliding the oneways.

61-0

Image
I remember way back in the day this was under discussion on the old forums. People were wondering if using Mammaletto's route and then double jump showing in the picture is it possible to beat the drone to the WJ spot. If it is possible his route may be faster than JF's

69-3

This is a much faster way to fall. And if the jump at the bottom proves to tough in real time, which I don't think it is. One could just run up the 4 tile a little and run back through to get the gold.

47-4

Image
The bottom part of the picture shows where a BTWJ could be done, but that may be FBF only. The top part of the picture show where later in the run a wall jump on the the thwump that is pushing against you could be done to save a few frames. Also If you watch xela's run he is faster than L3X to the end part, but then screw up the ending, so if someone used L3X's ending they could take 0th.

75-0

This innovation is for sure FBF only, but watch the demo it is pretty self explanatory. I am sure AGD is possible, but I just missed those two gold because it is hard to judge distance in FBF.

78-2

Image
This is a pretty simple innovation. Instead of jumping to the wall and then collecting the right most piece of gold. Get the gold first and then do a WJ getting the exit switch. However you may need to attract the drone, but I think he is avoidable.

87-4

Image
When Meta made his speedrun I came up with this route for highscore. But I was doing it really quickly and I made a jumbled mess at the exit switch. I think the right way to go about that is to: once you have the exit switch just jump over to the wall and between the mines then jump up and CJ the 3 tile. Also the route I have drawn here involves at least 3 cjs which makes it pretty tough, so it may be fbf only.

45-0

Darkshadow posted some innovaitons for this lvl back on the old forums so I am just posting the link here. All credit goes to him for the innovations. Link. Also Is cyberjuda's start faster than everyone else's?

41-2

Again this is another innovation posted on the old forums. The idea here is that Darkshadow's route is faster than the current 0th. And based on what Lim said here. I would agree.

74-0

Another one from the old forums. Animal_Right's accent, by skipping two jumps could be cleaned and would be faster than xela. Link.

78-1

Image
This isn't really my innovation because I am pretty sure Analu tried to do it but failed. Just get a third CJ at the red circle and 0th is yours.

I also have a bunch of innovations Here.

EDIT: added some more.
EDIT2: added more.
