Map ID CLUE!

A player decides to play a random episode of N
He completes level 0, 1 and 2 with an aggregate score of 147.300.
He then completes level 3 in 24.675 seconds, collecting 36 pieces of gold in the process.

Because the player thinks he has a sufficient amount of gold to complete the episode,
he does not bother to collect any gold from level 4.
If it takes the player 34.975 seconds to complete level 4, what is the total episode score for the player?

Round One Overview

Round one began with Vankusss taking a commanding, but temporary lead over xaelar and Unreality to name a couple. This lead was quickly taken by Dan_K (AKA Infernus) who first broke the 145 barrier. Dan_K managed to secretly hold this lead for a few days, before an assault of worthy demos from kkstrong0, xaelar and Hendor. Hendor; who had ultimately replaced Unreality proved a force, getting a score which was in the high 146's, slightly behind xaelar's 146.825 benchmark. Without any warning, a good 5 players had sieged past 146 making competition unbeknownst to almost everybody - exceedingly tight. Hendor - within three days of the final deadline tied xaelar's score with another impressive demo. At this point I was excited with a close finish, but thinking a last ditch improvement to this score looked unlikely. Suddenly within the final 32 hours of play - Max_Ride submitted an absolute pearler to snatch the victory from both Hendor and xaelar - winner of Elimination 1 & 2 respectively! And to make it that much more of a kick in the pants - he did it by a solitary frame. Max_Ride; an underdog, had completely warped the contest ranking all by himself, in the process skipping to a nifty lead and relegating xaelar to 2nd last of the remaining competitors through xaelar's misplaced bets and by Max_Ride targeting xaelar himself.
Also, well done to Vankusss who won N$10 in the lottery!

Congratulations to everyone - this round was of a calibre I did not expect.
Good luck to all remaining participants in Round 2.

The clue for round 2 will be PM'd shortly.

For any discrepancies, please PM me immediately.

Emergencies:
Bufar
romaniac
(Still accepting entrants as emergencies)

(Limit is 20 players, newcomers will be placed on a standby queue in case of dropouts)

Important Rules/Info:

You all start with N$50 (Yes, I know, this is also Namibia's currency, get over it;
and just like in real life your money will eventually become worthless ;))

Basically, the aim is to be the last man standing.
As soon as you become bankrupt, you are eliminated from the game. You become bankrupt if you fail to submit a demo on the correct map or your N$ goes under $0.
(Like in Elimination, non-competitors are still able to submit runs after I give the all clear, only the score will not count for anything.) Non-competitors submitting a score before the all clear is given or posting about the map's identity here or anywhere else is against the spirit of the game. Please don't do it :)

If you drop out before bankruptcy, you are entitled to be replaced by another player who
has not competed in the game at any stage prior to the player's dropout.
If for some reason you can no longer participate in this competition, or you don't want to,
simply PM me stating you would like to dropout and give an explanation if applicable so
I can then find another contestant who is willing to take your place. Your N$ will be transferred
to the replacement player. (More on $N later...) (Warning: once you have dropped out, you are not permitted to re-join)
Breaking this rule will result in immediate disqualification).

Cheating

Obviously, there is to be no cheating under any circumstances and I hope that you will compete in the spirit of fun and honesty. In any case, Unreality; through the use of NReality's Speedhack Detection will be carefully monitoring this competition. If Unreality or I suspect anyone of cheating, the offending players will be disqualified and their N$ funds forfeited and their ISP reported. (Cheating includes FBF, Slowdown, .sol hacking, colluding with other players etc.)This is meant to be a fun competition – why ruin everyone’s fun?

Scoring

The winner of each round will receive a N$10 bonus to their "N bank account" (This may change from round to round)
But here's the kicker: The prize money is "stolen" from the player of the winner's choice. The player the winner chooses can only be one person and not a combination - The player's choice might be due to a few motives (other than greed): An opponent’s skill level, a player’s virtual wealth, revenge etc. If a winner chooses to steal from a player who has less money than the prize money (e.g. the victim only has N$5.50)
The victim will lose all his money to the winner and any other outstanding money will be forfeited.
i.e. the winner will only receive N$5.50 from the eliminated player.
(Stealing is completely optional and the winner can decline the money if he wishes.)

Every other player will lose a dollar from their N bank account for every second they are behind (This may also vary from round to round)

Look out for rounds with special bonuses and twists that allow players to make some interesting decisions such as bets based on their own personal scores...

Example Round

e.g. Round 0: "0th" Prize = N$10
Trib4lmaniac wins and decides to steal his "prize money" from Johnny_faneca

Trib4lmaniac scores: 105.450
clux scores: 101.200
Johnny_faneca scores: 100.875
Afterthought scores: 100.450

Trib4lmaniac: $50 + $10 = N$60
clux: $50 - (Trib4lmaniac's score - clux's score) or (105.450-101.200) = 4.250 seconds = $4.25.
$50-$4.25 = N$45.75
Johnny_faneca: $50 - (Trib4l's score - JF's score) or $50 - $4.575 - $10 Prize money = (N$35.425)
Afterthought: $50 - $5 = N$45
Final Round 0 Standings
0th Trib4lmaniac: N$60
1st clux: N$45.75
2nd Afterthought: N$45
3rd Johnny_faneca: N$ 35.425

Lotto

As an added way of winning $N in Mistixia, players can risk N$1 each round to buy their ticket into a lotto draw. There is only one winner and he wins the entire contribution. If 16 players bet N$1 each the winner will profit N$15 plus the initial dollar. To ensure complete fairness and equal luck, a random number generator will be used with the assigned player’s number ranking for the number. The cost of a ticket may increase as we get deeper into the contest. To buy a ticket, respond to the Clue PM when prompted.

How To Play

I will PM the clue to the NUMA map ID to every player registered on the list.
If these clues prove too difficult for the player to solve, he may use his $N to 'buy' a hint or solution at fixed prices.
Please use NReality 6c2 or higher to play and submit your demo, no other forms of demo submission will be accepted under any circumstances. If NReality experiences downtime; an extension might be implemented.
At the conclusion of each round, I will create a spoiler (To prevent congestion) indicating the maps clues for people following this contest's progress as well as previous results and rundowns...
The runs must be made in highscores mode, speed runs will not be accepted, nor will runs made in practice mode, please ensure that your settings are correct before playing, you don't want to mess it up...

Well, that's about it! Let me know if you have any queries and sign up if you’re interested! The contest will begin as soon as 20 players have joined, more people can join afterwards; but they’ll be placed in a stand-by queue in case of dropouts.

Again, please write "Stix" in a post if you have read all of the above and agree to follow the rules and give it your best shot at this contest.

Prizes and Images!

I invite anyone to make images, especially if you are actually playing.
I need a 1st (Champion), 2nd (Runner-Up), 3rd and 4th signature/userbar.
I'd also like a participation userbar, you can use GIMP, Photoshop Userbar Designer or any other graphics program, hell you can hand-draw them if you wish! To be eligible for $N rewards, please make sure you include the word "Mistixia" and if possible use a different color for the "Stix" part of the word. Winners will ultimately be decided on creativity, neatness and artistic merit. Sets do not have to be themed, although this is recommended.

Each player who makes a userbar set (1st-4th) + Participant earns N$1.50
Each player who makes a signature set (1st-4th) + Participant earns N$3

Current Images:

The Other Signatures

The best userbar as voted in a poll earns an additional N$5 to their N bank account.
The best signature set as voted in a poll earns an additional N$10 to their N bank account.

Note: Poll is just a guide and not binding, I have the ultimate say in what the winning signature set/userbar is

If I think that little or no effort has been made in the image's creation I reserve the right to not award any N$.
I'll allow up to 2 submissions from each player (Maximum earning for each player by participation alone is N$5). All submissions must be complete in order to be eligible for rewards/prizes.

Map and 0th Dedications for non-competitors who make image sets for this contest.

So, just for uploading the relevant image sets you could be awarded up to N$5!
If you win both categories, you could be in the contest with a N$20 head start!

All information that would qualify me is found in the next few paragraphs, quoted from Mr. Paragraph Generator, living at the address http://watchout4snakes.com/creativityto ... graph.aspx :

Ganteka warns Stix past the abandon. Stix cakes Ganteka. Stix champions Ganteka next to the unsatisfactory silicon. Stix maximizes a container beneath a needle. The alcohol hums across Ganteka. Stix passes Ganteka within the fewer brush. Stix wrongs Ganteka. Stix changes the ozone above the memorable minimalist. How can whatever colleague wipe his custom lover?A rhythm shells the contrary snag with the cliff. How can the relevance risk Stix? Stix swims a cold voter. Stix rests every unstable musician. Why does Ganteka trail? The alternate jury yawns next to its electorate. Beneath Ganteka proceeds Stix. Ganteka settles a fighter. A cliff stores Stix above the pizza. Should our climate derange an included carriage? Can Ganteka wed a tomato? Can Ganteka scrap Stix? Ganteka stalls below the sinister badge. How will Stix dine? Ganteka writes. Stix rests the later whale opposite the comprehensible mortal. A sorry sword glows over Ganteka. . Ganteka Conquers Stix.
People write to me and say, "I’m giving up, you’re not talking to me." I just write them a simple message like, "Never give up," you know? And it changes their life

This sounds really great and interesting!

But you did one mistake:
e.g. Round 0: "0th" Prize = N$10
Trib4lmaniac wins and decides to steal his "prize money" from Johnny_faneca

Trib4lmaniac scores: 105.450
clux scores: 101.200
Johnny_faneca scores: 100.875 (the difference of jf's, and trib4l's score is 4.575)
Afterthought scores: 100.450

Trib4lmaniac: $50 + $10 = N$60
clux: $50 - (Trib4lmaniac's score - clux's score) or (105.450-101.200) = 4.250 seconds = $4.25.
$50-$4.25 = N$45.75
Johnny_faneca: $50 - (Trib4l's score - JF's score) or $50 - $1.325 ($4.575) - $10 Prize money = N$38.875 (N$35.425)
Afterthought: $50 - $5 = N$45
Final Round 0 Standings
0th Trib4lmaniac: N$60
1st clux: N$45.75
2nd Afterthought: N$45
3rd Johnny_faneca: N$ 38.875 (N$ 35.425)

Yes, when 20 people start.
you can keep the extra $3 if you want, as players can earn extra starting money by making image sets. (See Prizes)
