Hmmmm.... Welll I seem to be improving at it. Level no. 5177 and 148914 really turned corner jumps on in my life of success. ;)Eiturlyf wrote:Corners hate me ;___;

is there any way to submit a demo in N Reality without recording it in N Reality? how does the control-click work? sorry to sound so stupid. :(Life247 wrote:hopefully this is fast enough. Not that I know of. When you go to your userlevels, you can enter a map number to load in a map from NUMA. You click on the map and after completing the level, your personal best is saved. Control + Clicking that will submit that to Unreality's server.Life247 wrote:is there any way to submit a demo in N Reality without recording it in N Reality? how does the control-click work? sorry to sound so stupid. :(

And therefore I and everyone else will be able to see your demos on NReality! I think I heard xaelar telling Road_Rage about putting a particular demo on NReality. But I also don't know of any way to transfer demos to NReality.George wrote:Not that I know of. When you go to your userlevels, you can enter a map number to load in a map from NUMA. 507 frames is the fastest currently up on Nreality. Your demo there is a pretty good try, that last corner jump to the exit key I think is the hardest.Life247 wrote:what's the fastest?golfkid wrote:Life247: Yes that's fast enough, and a good start, now try to do it in under 15 seconds non-fbf'd.
I can't not-fbf a demo to save my life. it's become second nature for me.
[16:24] <@golfkid> I'm pretty sure I will literally scream if I die on the last column of 78-4 at this point

Uh, one of the main points of Nreality is to stop people from cheating. If you could submit any demo to the server from an external source, then people would be able to submie fbf'd demos to the server. If you want to do fbf runs, then do it in underclock mode.Life247 wrote:is there any way to submit a demo in N Reality without recording it in N Reality? how does the control-click work? sorry to sound so stupid. :(
Ctrl+click submits the personal best that is saved when you complete a level in the userlevels section. Depending on what mode you are currently using - highscore, speedrun or underclock - it will submit it to one of the respective Nreality servers.
Also, check Nreality for a 431 frame run ;)

Ice Climbers are awesome. Deal with it.

that's good. I need to practice real-time (rt) demos.Condog wrote:Uh, one of the main points of Nreality is to stop people from cheating. how do you switch modes? I can't figure it out.Condog wrote: If you want to do fbf runs, then do it in underclock mode.

Yes, they are quite fun.Rikaninja wrote:Do you like corner-jumping? Or when you see a map with a corner-jump ou turn away to have a look at a map in your ability?
If you are proud of any particular corner-jumps you have performed then post them here and discuss.

Thanks dudes. Oh mannnn! I have beaten only 5 collumms ;{. Which one should I beat next. [90's, 40's or 70's) ? And I just figured out how to do a corner jump of a 5 tile on the ground. But I'm not consistent ;}ToeFaceKiller wrote:6 columns it is.

My favorite corner jump that I've done would probably have to be the half-tile corner jump on 149390 highscores. Half tile corner jumps are the hardest kind of corner jumps in my opinion.

Izzy and TRO - #n-highscores: <@Izzy> Where'd those frames come from? | <TRO> meta's ninja runs faster | <@Izzy> He stole TFK'S?!
Life247 - #n-highscores: Grrr, you're too perfect Meta.
Pryocheese - this map: of course you'd figure out how to cheat anti-cheat methods
Kablizzy: Click
kkstrong: I fully expect him to sig that.

Uh, who is TFC?Rikaninja wrote:Actually I have beaten those collums already :) Oh well, I haven't gotten any better at corner jumping. Though now I can pull small ones of a lot easier now! Thanks TFC anyway :}
Yeah, half-tile CJs have to be the hardest. Bounceblock CJs are easy compered to those.

And also, it's impossible to actually jump off the corners of a bounce block. Frame by frame analysis shows that the ninja technically still jumps off the side.

Ah, ok. Many of us still refer to them as lookatthis bounceblock cornerjumps. Well I do, at least without lookatthis in it.George wrote:And also, it's impossible to actually jump off the corners of a bounce block. Frame by frame analysis shows that the ninja technically still jumps off the side.
So that means that thwump cornerjumps are walljumps too, right?
